The short version: most of these products advertise doses that are mechanically inconsistent with capsule capacity and the formulation requirements of a true liposomal product. If you see a luteolin supplement on Amazon claiming 800mg per serving for under fifteen dollars a bottle, the label is almost certainly not telling the whole story.

The four questions worth asking before you buy any luteolin product:
Standard luteolin doses in published research range from roughly 100mg to 400mg, depending on the application. Doses substantially above that range, particularly on inexpensive products, are a flag rather than a feature.
True liposomal formulation requires specific manufacturing capability and a phospholipid carrier (sunflower lecithin, olive pomace oil, soy lecithin) that should be disclosed on the label. A product that claims to be liposomal but does not name the carrier is suspect.
This is the single best transparency signal. If a brand will not publish lab results for the batch you are buying, you are trusting the label without verification.
Luteolin paired with tart cherry suggests a metabolic and antioxidant focus. Luteolin paired with quercetin and rutin suggests a mast cell focus. Luteolin alone is the simplest formulation. None of these is wrong; they are just different applications.
